Various kinds of projects initiated in YEDA can be provided with transportation facility, sewage, electricity power, heat and telecommunication to the border of each individual lot by the Administrative Committee.

Road Both State-highway No.206 (Yantai-Beijing) and Tongsan expressway from the extreme north of China, Tongjiang county of Heilongjiang Province to the extreme south of China, Sanya of Hainan Province pass through YEDA.

Railway Yantai Railway Station is connected with the national railway network through one of the Chinese artery railway of Jiaoji -Lanyan Railway Line. Currently, the railway from Dezhou to Yantai along the Bohai bay and the ferry railway from Yantai to Dalian are under construction.

Seaport Yantai port is one of the top 10 largest hubs of communications of China. There are 15 berths with handling capacity over ten thousand tons, and navigation services between Yantai port and more than 100 ports all over the world are available.

Airport With 127 flights weekly, Yantai International Airport has 35 international and domestic airlines up to now.

Water Supply Depending on the independent water supply system, a water supplying capacity of 20,000 MT per day is available.

Power Supply YEDA receives sufficient power supply of dual return circuits and twin power mains from Shandong Power grid, which connects with the East China power grid. So far completed are the four substations of 110 KV and four substations of 35KV, and another 220 KV one is under construction.

Heat Supply Central heating has been applied in YEDA. Two co-generation plants have been set up with heat supplying capacity of 360 MT/hr .

Telecommunications With total installed capacity of 100,000 telephones, YEDA has 20,000 sets of program - controlling exchanging telephones, 25,000 sets of which have been installed for communications within Yantai City. Various telecommunication services are available such as domestic and international direct dial, facsimile, mobile communication, data communication, radio paging, Internet, multi-media communication, etc. And a separate switchboard, DDN, SDH, ADSL and IP network services are available for investors as well.

Coal Gas Supply With designed supplying capacity at 145,000m3/day; the current daily capacity is 20,000 m3.

Natural Gas Supply The current daily capacity is 20,000 m3/day; the planning capacity of the second phase is 50,000 m3/day.

Customs Office Independent Customs Office has been set up for handling such formalities for enterprises in accordance with laws as follows: registration and filing with the Customs, declaration and check & inspection for the imports & exports, levy/exemption from duties on imports of production equipment and drawback of the assessed exported products; examination and approval of bonded warehouses and bonded factories for enterprises; bonded service for imported

goods under processing trade.

Commodity Inspection and Quarantine Bureau In accordance with laws, carries out inspections on the imports & exports, implements the general preferential system (GPS), signs and issues certificates of origin, appraises the quality of the imports & exports, and evaluates the assets of enterprises.

Banks Branches of the People's Back of China and other commercial banks of China have been set up in YEDA, which provide loan service to investors as well as services for opening and settling accounts both domestically and globally and regulating and managing of foreign exchanges.

Factories & Residential Buildings A number of general-purpose factory buildings have been set up in YEDA with a total built-up area of 100,000 m2 whereas there are also over one million m2 of residential buildings and villas, all of which are ready for purchase or rent.

Service Facilities Various service facilities in YEDA include 5-star, 3-star hotels and hotels of different grades, bars & restaurants, shops & supermarkets, international school, kindergartens, primary & middle schools and secondary vocational schools. Meanwhile, well-equipped hospitals and TV station, facilities for body fitting and sightseeing are also available, such as golf training course, resort beach and bowling alley.
